From January 16 to 18, 2025, the annual global forum of otolaryngologists, EROC 2025, was held in Dubai (UAE). Traditionally, at the beginning of the year, ENT doctors from all over the world gather at this prestigious event to exchange experience and show new developments and approaches, present reports that will subsequently be heard and developed in all corners of the globe.
Our university was represented by Vice-Rector for International Relations, Head of the Department of Otolaryngology with a clinic, Professor Sergey Anatolyevich Karpishchenko. Sergey Anatolyevich took part in the panel discussion "Invasive mycoses of the sinonasal region, with spread to the base of the skull and orbit." Representatives of India, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, the UAE, Malaysia took part in the discussion.
The experience of our university was recognized, by common opinion, as advanced and extremely useful to colleagues from different countries. Sergey Anatolyevich also presented a report on the experience of diagnostics and surgical treatment of osteomas of the paranasal sinuses. The report was presented as part of the round table "Sinonasal tumors". Representatives from Saudi Arabia, Japan, Egypt, and Iraq took part in the section.
