Experts in the field of thoracic surgery, oncology and bronchology presented new data on thymus surgery, treatment of spontaneous rupture of the esophagus, and examined oncological processes in the chest from different perspectives.  The conference participants discussed the possibilities of vacuum therapy in the treatment of purulent-inflammatory complications in cardiothoracic surgery,  therapy for EGFR-positive lung cancer, and immunotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer.  Reports were presented on the clinical and anatomical aspects of changes in the chest and abdominal cavities after pneumonectomy, complications after it in patients with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis, as well as the possibility of their prediction.
