For many years, outstanding scientists, obstetricians and gynecologists have been in the ranks of the society.  Today, a new generation of doctors and researchers continues the traditions of providing care to pregnant women, women in labor and gynecological patients.  As the representatives of the presidium of the congress noted, obstetrics is one of the most significant areas of medicine, and thanks to the efforts of doctors in this specialty, maternal and infant mortality is decreasing.

Experts discussed such topics of modern obstetric and gynecological science as obstetric bleeding, a personalized approach to the treatment of endometriosis, the possibility of prevention in modern conditions of HPV-associated diseases, miscarriage.  Separate sections were devoted to major and minor obstetric syndromes;  the key problem of perinatal obstetrics - the scar on the uterus;  as well as innovative developments in overcoming infertility and treatment of gynecological cancer patients and robotic surgery.

The plenary session consisted of reports on the impact of COVID-19 on reproductive health, clinical and epidemiological patterns, maternal mortality, organization of medical care for women with the coronavirus infection COVID-19 during pregnancy.
