The visit took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and was a continuation of the online talks organized earlier, on October 9th, 2024.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society Sanakoev S.F. spoke about the ongoing long-term partnership between Russia and China and mentioned the role of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development in the creation of the Russian-Chinese Center for Trade and Economic Cooperation in 1998. He also noted his long-standing acquaintance with the Russian-Chinese Foundation for the Development of Culture, Education and Science.
Director General of the Russian-Chinese Foundation for the Development of Culture, Education and Science Ms. Cui Shan spoke about the active development of cooperation between educational and medical institutions of Russia and China with the participation of the foundation, noted the preliminary agreements reached between Pavlov University and the Institute of Medicine of the Chengdu Electrotechnical University as part of online negotiations on the organization of summer student academic mobility, and also outlined other possible areas of cooperation.
Advisor of the Russian-Chinese Foundation for the Development of Culture, Education and Science, Kupin A.M., spoke about the long-standing cooperation of the Russian-Chinese Foundation with Pavlov University and proposed to organize an exhibition space "showroom" at our University, where modern medical equipment and medicines of Chinese manufacture would be presented, which specialists of Russian medical institutions could get acquainted with.
Vice-Rector for Science, professor Polushin Yu.S. reported that our University supports cooperation with China and is ready to consider the possibility of activating it in the proposed areas, including the organization of advanced training courses for specialists from China. He also noted the quality of Chinese medical equipment, which is already presented at our University.
Vice-Rector for International Relations professor S.A. Karpishchenko spoke about the existing scientific contacts with colleagues from China, personal experience of visiting China and testing Chinese medical equipment. He noted the possibility of participating in the certification of the latest Chinese medical equipment and test systems.
It is planned to consider the options for cooperation proposed by the Chinese side.
The guests were presented with souvenirs with the University's symbols.
The guests were given a tour of the anatomy museum "Anatomical Hermitage", which was conducted by the leading translator of the Department of External Relations and Development V.A. Gavrilina.
