The Gala event , dedicated to the freshmen-2019, was held in the House of Culture "DK Lensoveta" on 31st of August, 2019. All the participants were welcomed by Rector of our University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor Sergey Fedorovich Bagnenko, as well as by guest of the event, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Anna Vladimirovna Mityanina.
The freshmen and their parents met that day with the vice-rector, deans and deputy deans of the faculties. Representatives of each faculty also received symbolic student ID card on the stage.
After gala ceremony freshmen and their parents were invited for a meeting, where they continued their acquaintance with university rules and traditions.
