From October 23 to 27, 2024, the 45th Congress of the Turkish National Society of Otolaryngologists was held at the Elexus Congress Center in Cyprus.
This annual event brings together about 3,000 specialists in this and related disciplines. The meetings were held in 6 halls in parallel from early morning until late evening. During the breaks, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition of medical equipment and new technologies, as well as with the exhibition of art works by the congress participants.
Our university was represented by Vice-Rector for International Relations, Head of ENT Department with a Clinic, Professor S. A. Karpishchenko.
Sergey Anatolyevich took part in 2 round table discussions and made 2 reports. The first report was devoted to the experience of using surgical lasers in rhinology, the second - to complex cases of surgical diseases of the frontal sinuses. Interesting discussions took place during the round tables, useful not only for the audience, but also for the speakers themselves. The congress was held in a hospitable and friendly atmosphere.
