Delegation from our Univeristy visited Warsaw Medical University on 15th October, 2018.
Andrey Ilyich Yaremenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery; Dr. Anna Lysenko and Evelina Krasichka took part in the meeting, which took place in the Rector's Office.
The Russian guests were met by Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Promotion and Development, Professor Krzysztof J. Filippiak. Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, Professor Kazimierz Chopiński, made a presentation for St. Petersburg colleagues . During the discussion, A.I. Yaremenko was talking about the main directions of education and science, which are presented in our University, and also pointed out that Russian colleagues are interested in establishing bilateral cooperation, which would include the exchange of students and teachers, cooperation in science, organization of conferences, seminars, exchange of research ideas and scientific materials, creation of joint research projects with a special focus on maxillofacial surgery and dental surgery.
The delegation from St. Petersburg visited the clinic of maxillofacial surgery and transplantology at the Warsaw Medical University, headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences Pavel Zavadski.
The visit opened up new perspectives for collaboration and joint research for both universities.
