On October 3, 2025, the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited our University.
The meeting was organized at the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg. Abdurakhmon Akramzhanovich Makhmudov, Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with the University administration and the Uzbek students, clinical residents, and postgraduate students,who are studying at the University. Vice-Rector for International Relations S.A. Karpishchenko performed welcoming speech and spoke about his close professional collaboration with medical institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan, where a large number of our University graduates work.
Head of the International Relations Department S.Yu. Borovets reported that the Republic of Uzbekistan ranks first in the number of international agreements with our University. Dean of the Faculty of International Students S.V. Matyushechkin spoke warmly of the Uzbek graduates, working in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
