The videoconference was opened by the representative of the Russian House in Brussels M.V. Volkova. The Rector of our University told the participants about long history of education for foreign students. A faculty for foreign students was created in 1946, one of the first in the USSR. Currently students from more than 40 countries of the world are studying here.
Our University offers modern opportunities for a scientific, clinical and educational base for training of qualified specialists of various medical specialties. The Vice-Rector for International Relations, A.N. Yaitski, emphasized the high requirements for the education of students, including foreign ones, the high competition for admission to the Faculty of Medicine for foreign students and the opportunity to take entrance exams remotely in recent years at the University from any country in the world.
Deputy Dean K.A. Khmelnitskaya performed the presentation about the peculiarities of admitting foreign citizens, conducting entrance exams in a distance format, as well as about the active social, cultural, sports life of students.
