On December 3d,2024 a delegation from China headed by the company's chairman Ren Fengyin visited our University. This is the second visit by the company; the first one took place in December 2023. This time, the company came with an expanded delegation, including experts from 4 medical equipment manufacturers and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering Technologies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The visit took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Mr. Ren Fengyin said that company is a scientific and technical corporation that is engaged in the transformation of scientific and technical achievements and the development of innovative projects in close cooperation with medical enterprises of the PRC, and sees its goal as strengthening Russian-Chinese cooperation with the involvement of leading Russian universities.
Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Polushin Yu.S., being also the head of the scientific and clinical center of anesthesiology and resuscitation, spoke about the specifics of organizing the anesthesiology and resuscitation service at Pavlov University, and also noted the possibility of our University participation in testing the latest Chinese medical equipment and test systems, as part of joint clinical research in coordination with the Russian Ministry of Health.
Experts from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering Technologies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences spoke about their areas of work and scientific, technical achievements.
Representatives of Chinese medical equipment manufacturers presented their advanced technological developments in the field of endoscopy, anesthesiology and laboratory diagnostics.
It is planned to consider the cooperation options, proposed by the Chinese side, and organize more detailed negotiations on specific areas in the future.
The guests were presented with souvenirs with the University's symbols.
Also, a tour in anatomy museum was organized for the guests, which was conducted by the leading translator of the Department of External Relations and Development V.A. Gavrilina.
