On December 1st, 2022, an organizational online meeting of the distance preparatory department for foreign citizens was held with the participation of Rector of Pavlov University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor S.F. Bagnenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Foreign Students (Dean of the Preparatory Department for Distance Learning Programs for Foreign Citizens), Ph.D. K.A. Khmelnitskaya, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Foreign Students, V.A. Gavrilina, Head for educational affairs of Department of General and Bioorganic Chemistry, S.V. Ageev, Head for educational affairs of Department of Medical Biology and Genetics, T.V. Tolstoya, Head for educational affairs of the Russian Language Department N. 2, K.S. Lavrova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Russian Language N.2, A.I. Stoyanova, Head of the Department of Information and Technical Support E.A. Korobenkov.
Rector S.F. Bagnenko delivered a welcoming speech, noted the importance of preparing foreign students at the preparatory department for selecting the best students, stressed the importance of studying the Russian language for further education at the University, wished success in further education to foreign students. K.A.Khmelnitskaya prepared a report on the history of our University.
The online meeting was held in three languages – Russian, English and Persian. The online meeting was attended by students from Egypt, China, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Turkmenistan and other countries.
The remote preparatory department for foreign citizens continues its educational work for the third year since 2020. The purpose of this preparatory department is to prepare foreign students for entrance examinations and admission to the Faculty of Medicine for foreign students of the University. All applicants undergo mandatory online registration on the official website of the University in the section "Admission Committee - Preparatory (remote) department for foreign citizens", create an electronic personal account and fill in personal information from educational documents and a foreign passport. During the academic year, students study the Russian language, chemistry, biology with teachers and professors of the University, at the end of the academic year they take final exams in the subjects studied in the format of entrance exams for the 1st year, and upon successful training and passing the final exams, they receive a certificate of the completion of the distance preparatory department for foreign citizens of Pavlov University. For students of the distance preparatory department a group is created in one of the messengers, where you can always be in touch with the dean and get answers to your questions.
