On 2nd and 3rd November 2017, the 28th International Scientific and Technical Conference "Extreme Robotics (ER-2017)" was organized, in which leading experts in the field of robotics, as well as representatives of different ministries and department, took part.
During the plenary sessions current issues, related to the creation of a new generation of robotic systems for work in extreme conditions and emergency situations, were discussed. Those topics included: the fight against terrorism, firefighting, the solution of defense tasks, as well as the tasks of outer space and the depths of the World Ocean exploration, medicine, nuclear energy and hazardous industries.
The roundtable discussions on medical robotics in our University gathered representatives of medical institutions. Topics of interest were: first aid, patients’ care, rehabilitation, microrobots for examination and treatment of internal organs.
