From April 26 to 28, 2025, the city of Xi'an in Shaanxi Province (PRC) hosted the 8th meeting of the Ministers of Health of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states , where issues of specialized cooperation of Medical Alliance Institutions were discussed. This event was attended by a delegation from Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, consisting of Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Sergey Anatolyevich Karpishchenko, and Professor of the Neurology Department, Igor Alekseevich Voznyuk. During the visit, a ceremonial signing of a memorandum of cooperation in scientific, technical and educational fields took place between our University and Capital Medical University (PRC).
As part of the seventh SCO conference on hospital cooperation, Professor I.A. Voznyuk gave a lecture on protocols for managing patients diagnosed with stroke.
The visit resulted in further strengthening of bilateral cooperation with China in the fields of science, education and healthcare.
