From December 1st to 3rd,2025 representatives of Pavlov University visited  Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The delegation included Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Chairman of ENT Department, Professor Sergey Anatolyevich Karpishchenko, and the Deputy Dean of Medical Faculty for Foreign students, Leading Translator Victoria Alexandrovna Gavrilina.

On December 2, the delegation visited the Faculty of Medicine of the University of East Sarajevo in Foča.🤝 The Dean of the Faculty, Professor, Dr. Dejan Bokonjic and his colleagues showed the guests from St. Petersburg current state of the largest faculty of the University of East Sarajevo, as well as plans for its further development, primarily in the area of ​​international programs. Of particular interest to colleagues in Foča was the discussion of the prospects for establishing cooperation with Pavlov University in the field of faculty and student exchange, organization of internships and advanced training programs. After a tour of the faculty's research laboratories, Vice-Rector Sergei Anatolyevich Karpishchenko delivered a presentation about our University. The audience's attention was particularly drawn to the story of Russia's leading otolaryngologist about the operations he performed and the prospects for the development of this field of medicine. Then, Deputy Dean of Medical Faculty for foreign students Victoria Gavrilina spoke about infrastructure, educational opportunities, and professional development programs at our University. In conclusion, Georgy Engelhardt, Advisor of Russian House in Belgrade, spoke to the faculty and students about the program for free higher education in Russia through scholarships from the Russian Government.

 

December 3rd was an equally productive day. The working morning began with a meeting with Professor Nenad Arsović, Director of the Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Serbia. Professor S.A. Karpishchenko was given a tour of the ENT department. The delegation then moved on to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade. Nataša Ognjanović, Head of the International Cooperation Unit, greeted the guests.

The parties discussed potentially interesting areas of cooperation. At the end of the meeting, a decision was made to sign an agreement between the universities.

Next, Evgeny Aleksandrovich Baranov, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Serbia, greeted the guests from St. Petersburg at the Russian House.  During the meeting, the possibility of providing quotas for Serbian students to study at Pavlov University was confirmed.
