On November 20, 2020, the first online meeting was held with the participation of Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dean of the Medical Faculty of foreign students M.D., Ph.D. Yaitsky A.N., deputy dean of the Medical Faculty of foreign students (Dean of Pre-entrance Program department in Distance format) M.D., Ph.D. Khmelnitskaya K.A., Head of the Department of Russian Language№2 Vlasova A.O., Head of the IT Information and support department Korobenkov E.A..
A video in English language about the Pavlov First Saint-Petersburg State Medical University was shown, deputy dean of the medical faculty of foreign students K.A. Khmelnitskaya made the presentation about the history of Pavlov Medical University, the history of education for foreign citizens at the University, the specifics of the work of the University Admission, the preparation of obligatory documents for foreign citizens, and also the organization of the educational process of the Pre-entrance Program department in Distance format for foreign students in the 2020/2021 academic year.
On November 23, 2020, 70 foreign students from different countries (Israel, Iran, Germany, India, Sri-Lanka, etc.) started the first online Russian language classes at the Pre-entrance Program in Distance format.The following educational programs are planned to implement at Pre-entrance Program in Distance form: a standard educational program- biomedical profile (period from November 1st to June 1st of the current academic year), specialized educational programs, which include the study of one subject by choice – Russian language, or English language, or chemistry, or biology (up to 3 months in the period from November 1st to March 1st of the current academic year).
The submission of required documents for Admission should be made through the electronic information system of the University. A foreign citizen must make obligatory electronic registration at the official University website in the link "Admission - the Pre-entrance Program for foreign citizens in distance format Registration", create Applicant Personal account and fill in personal data and information from the national passport and education document.
Educational programs are provided by the university teaching staff of departments of the University.
