On December 2, 2024, an organizational online meeting of the distance preparatory department for foreign citizens was held with the participation of Vice-Rector for International Relations Professor S.A. Karpishchenko, Dean of the Medical Faculty for Foreign Students Professor S.V. Matyushechkin, Deputy Dean of the Medical Faculty for Foreign Students PhD K.A. Khmelnitskaya, Head of the Russian Language Department N.2 Associate Professor A.O. Vlasova, Head of the Department of General and Bioorganic Chemistry Professor K.N. Semenov, Head of the Department of Medical Biology and Genetics Associate Professor M.A. Korzhenevskaya, Deputy Dean of the Medical Faculty for Foreign Students PhD V.A. Gavrilina. The online broadcast was carried out with the support of the Information Technology Department under the leadership of E.A. Korobenkov.
Students from 14 countries took part in the online meeting - Algeria, Germany, Egypt, Israel, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon, Palestine, USA, Syria, Turkey, Estonia, South Korea. The online meeting was held in four languages - Russian, English, Persian and Chinese. Students of the Faculty of Medicine for Foreign Students participated in the translation into Russian: into Persian - F. Khajavi, into Chinese - Jiahe Chen.
Vice-Rector S.A. Karpishchenko delivered a welcoming speech and wished success in further education to foreign students. Dean of the Medical Faculty for Foreign Students S.V. Matyushechkin emphasized the importance of studying Russian in the preparatory department for successfully passing entrance exams and further education at the University.
During the academic year, students will study Russian, chemistry, biology with teachers and professors of the University. At the end of the academic year they will take final exams in the studied specialized subjects in the format of entrance exams. Upon successful training and passing of final exams they will receive a certificate of completion of the distance preparatory department for foreign citizens of Pavlov University.
