Ms. Jiao Xuemei said that their corporation is a science and technology corporation established by the Beijing National Technology Transfer Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the process of market development. The company's main functions are the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the development of innovative projects, the operation of industrial parks represented in more than 30 cities in 15 provinces of the PRC, and the provision of business services to local governments and various enterprises. The company's goal is to strengthen the potential of the international cooperation system and create a Chinese-Russian joint innovation center with the involvement of leading Russian universities.
Issues of potential cooperation in the field of education and science were discussed. Head of the International Relations Department S.Yu. Borovets explained that in order to carry out cooperation with foreign partners, at the first stage it is necessary to conclude a protocol of intentions. Currently, the signing of any agreement on international cooperation is possible only after agreement with the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Chinese colleagues were invited to consider the possibility of organizing joint participation of Russian and Chinese specialists in scientific and practical conferences in face-to-face or online format.
