On November 8-9, a meeting of otolaryngologists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany and the USA was held in the capital of Kazakhstan in the format of the scientific and practical conference "II Eurasian School of Otolaryngologists". Within the framework of the cooperation agreement with the NAO "Astana Medical University", the conference was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Head of ENT Department with the Clinic, Professor Sergey Anatolyevich Karpishchenko. Guests and invited lecturers were Professor Wolf Mann (Mainz, Germany), Professors Maria Leonidovna Zakharova (Saint Petersburg), Andrey Stanislavovich Lopatin, Galina Nikolaevna Nikiforova, Valery Mikhailovich Svistushkin (Moscow) and Vladimir Mikhailovich Averbukh (Moscow).
The conference was attended by over 150 people in the hall and over 1,500 people online.
A solemn and pleasant event took place: Professor Sergey Anatolyevich Karpishchenko presented Professor Wolf Mann with a diploma and a badge of Visiting Professor of Pavlov University. Then Professor S.A. Karpishchenko opened the scientific program with a lecture on a topical issue - rare symptoms of sphenoiditis, presenting a number of interesting clinical observations.
In the evening, colleagues met at a gala dinner, continuing their friendly conversation.
As part of the II Eurasian School of Otolaryngologists, an exhibition of new pharmaceutical products for clinicians and a demonstration of medical equipment were held. The conference, which is now becoming traditional, aroused great interest and was held in an interactive discussion format.
